Drew Dudley, the Power of Lollipop Moments…and Man, This Guy is Inspiring

This is one of my all-time favorite TED Talks. It’s brilliant in its simplicity; it’s powerful in its message.

If you’ve never watched it, pause for a moment (well, actually, 6 minutes and 21 seconds), sit back and enjoy.

Drew Dudley, in my humble opinion, is a Leadership powerhouse. His TED Talk is simple — a simple gesture can make a big impact, even in the life of someone you don’t (yet) know. His life is not so simple, but Drew, like many true leaders, has taken his life story and experiences, channeled them into lesson after lesson, and given them all to us in his book, This is Day One: A Practical Guide to Leadership That Matters.

Not only is Drew an authentic leader, but he’s also a masterful storyteller. The Georgia REALTORS® welcomed Drew at our September 2018 Annual Conference, and he was a bright ray of light to a stormy, hurricane-threatened coastline of Alabama that week. I had the chance to interview him before his keynote — and I could not have had more fun with him.
